a question i should know the answer to, but i dont.

 ok. more than a few times  when i have been out and about, and i have been battling and other people would join the battle -- i dont know what the attack is called, or even how the hell they do it, but it looks like a spear of light and it is fast as fuck --- at first i thought it was a staff but then i saw a guy doing it with an axe.  like i said --looks like a light spear, and hits like 6 or 7 times but fast as hell. 

anyone have any idea what the hell i am talking about ?

I think its probably the templars aedric spear attack
